I have coached and mentored many people throughout my career from within my business or outside. Most of these people I remain in contact with today. Many of them have achieved great things, established long careers, got the promotion and remuneration they dreamed of, started their own business and enjoyed immense job satisfaction.
With over 25 years at the top of my game, I have provided vision and led with purpose every organization I have been involved with and have a passion for making decisive moves, walking the walk and bringing people with me. In my most recent roles as an MD in Australia and in South East Asia, I led major transformations across sales, marketing and product development and achieved this in tough economic conditions.
In my most recent position I was instrumental in delivering growth that outstripped the market by pursuing an agenda of innovation in sales and marketing, by enhancing platform driven solutions and by being heavily involved in the success of a new, unique product line that grew the business at a rate of over 50% per year.
I have worked for global corporates throughout my career and led the development and deployment of a $1bn cloud based platform across Asia Pacific.
I have also worked closely with scale-ups in coaching, advisory, consultative and strategic roles at crucial times in their development.
Whilst I have experience and Board presence and tick every box from a technical capability perspective, I am also relentlessly creative and love exploring the potential inherent in the power of disruption.
Finally, I am also a father to two wonderful kids and in my spare time, I'm a drummer who most definitely still has his L plates on!
